Family

At Hipp Dentistry, we welcome patients of all ages into our office. We encourage parents to bring in their children as early as age one for a Well Baby Dental Visit. Regularly scheduled cleanings with our highly trained hygienists allow us to keep you happy and healthy. Our doctors will take the time necessary to help you understand your treatment options. We allow plenty of time for our appointments so nothing is ever rushed.

Sleep apnea can lead to a number of discomforts, including teeth grinding, snoring, difficulty breathing, and more. We offer oral appliance therapy to help alleviate these issues related to sleep apnea.

This device is similar to a sporting mouth guard but is only worn during sleep. The oral appliance positions the jaw to create an open, unobstructed airway while you are sleeping. We find that many of our patients prefer this treatment method over the bulky and expensive CPAP mask that some dental and medical professionals prescribe. Take back your sleep and combat sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy at Hipp Dentistry.

A denture is a removable restoration used to replace missing teeth. A complete denture is used when all of the teeth are mising, but a partial denture is used to fill the empty space when some natural teeth are still present in the mouth. Implant-supported dentures are a great way to increase the stability and functionality of the denture. Dental implants are placed in the mouth prior to making the denture.

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) is very common and can cause extreme discomfort. TMD is often characterized by grinding teeth, jaw pain, and severe headaches. At Hipp Dentistry, we can create a custom bite splint to help manage your pain and discomfort caused by TMD.

Mouth guards are proven to be an excellent way to protect your teeth while playing sports. Our athletic mouth guards are customized for a comfortable fit while providing superior protection.

We work with the excellent local orthodontists to provide a positive orthodontic experience for you or your family members.

Root canal therapy is necessary when the nerve of a tooth has been affected by decay or infection. Root canal therapy can repair a damaged tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted and keep the tissue around the tooth healthy and free from inflammation.

A crown is the recommended solution for a tooth with large amounts of decay or damage that needs extra support and cannot be fixed with a composite filling. At Hipp Dentistry, we use the state-of-the-art CEREC system to create and place porcelain crowns in one office visit. The CEREC system allows us to take a digital impression of your teeth, mill a custom-fit crown in our office, and bond your final restoration in one appointment.

A dental bridge is an excellent solution to replace missing teeth and to keep your adjacent teeth from difting out of position. We can create your bridge in-office using our CEREC system, or we can work with one of our dental lab partners to create the best restoration to fit your personal needs.

We use tooth-colored composite filling material to repair tooth decay, fractures, cracks, etc. The affected portion of the tooth is removed and then restored with the correct shade of composite filling to match your tooth.

At Hipp Dentistry, we believe that providing thorough information about procedures and treatment options enables our patients to make educated decisions about their dental care. We can schedule time to sit down with the doctor to discuss your treatment plan and address any questions or concerns you may have, so you can be confident in the decisions you make about your oral health.

Digital x-rays offer faster results, more diagnostic accuracy, and a lower dose of radiation to the patient.

A prophylaxis is commonly known as a “dental cleaning.” At your periodic cleaning appointment, you will be with a licensed, highly-skilled and experienced dental hygienist. This appointment also includes a decay risk assessment, gum and periodontal treatment, oral hygiene instructions, and a comprehensive exam with the doctor.

At Hipp Dentistry, we stand by the ADA recommendation that parents should take their children to the dentist no later than their first birthday. During the Well Baby Dental Visit, your hygienist will provide specific oral hygiene instructions to assist in your child’s at-home dental care, answer any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s oral health, and your child will meet with the doctor for an examination.
