Office Policies & Financial Information

Payment Options

Payment is due at the time services are performed. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, VISA, Discover and MasterCard. When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office. If you choose to pay with a debit or credit card, an additional 3% fee will be added to your total balance. (HSA cards are exempt from the 3% fee)

Insurance

Insurance benefits are determined by your employer and not your dentist. Any deductible or estimated co-payment amount will be due at the time of treatment. Insurance is not a guarantee of payment; insurance companies may not pay for all your costs. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurer. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file all claims to your dental insurance company. Our office does not participate in medicare/medicaid programs; consequently, we are unable to file to these programs. Please call or text our office and we will be happy to assist you with your dental insurance questions.

Financial Policy

We believe in the importance of quality dental care, and we strive to provide the best dental treatment possible. Also, we understand the financial limitation that influences your choice of care.

We work with all insurance companies and always try to maximize your coverage through meticulous detailing of procedures and interaction with your insurer. We fill out claim forms, and we are available to answer any questions we can. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks.

Please remember, however, that you are responsible for the portion of your treatment not covered by insurance. Because we, too, must balance our finances, we ask that you pay your portion of the bill at the time of treatment. We accept cash, VISA, Discover and MasterCard and personal checks.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that unplanned issues can come up, and you may need to cancel an appointment. If that happens, we respectfully ask for scheduled appointments to be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

Our doctor and hygienists want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our patients. When a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen. We consider an appointment confirmed once the appointment is scheduled. A minimum charge of $50 per hour may be posted to your account if an appointment is cancelled without a 24 hour advance notice.

Rest assured that we are here to help make quality dental care obtainable for all. We look forward to working with you to achieve excellent dental health.
